New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2019, Weekend Two (A Gallery)
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival wrapped up its celebration of 50 years of the iconic gathering this past weekend with another four days of international, national and, most importantly local Louisiana artists. Along with the various late-night shows that pop up during Jazz Fest each year, the weekend’s daytime offerings included sets from Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Chris Stapleton, Jimmy Buffett, John Fogerty, Gary Clark Jr., Dumpstaphunk, Gladys Knight, Kamasi Washington, Galactic, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Little Feat, Diana Ross, Buddy Guy, Samantha Fish, Ziggy Marley, Anders Osborne, Mavis Staples, Big Freedia, North Mississippi Allstars, The Radiators, Jon Cleary, Aaron Neville, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Cyril Neville, Leo Nocentelli and many more, including a main-stage finale from Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, who welcomed members of the Neville family to close out Jazz Fest 2019.
