Musicians, Celebrities and More Pay Tribute to Glenn Frey
As 2016 states its case for worst year of all time, it has added another notch in that belt as the Eagles’ Glenn Frey passed away last night at the age of 67 due to complications from several illnesses. While the Eagles were truly a collaborative band (at least in their happier years), it was Frey who led the group on some of their biggest hits, making his loss all the more impactful.
As news of his passing broke, dozens in the music, entertainment and sports industries took the time to pay tribute via Twitter. Most echo the same sentiment we all seem to be feeling, as Questlove says, “All these legends, man.” Meanwhile, Jeff Daniels chimes in, “Not again.” Motley Crue’s Nikki Six probably says it best with a tweet that says, “Jesus, can the reaper please take a break for a while.” Hopefully, that’s the case.
Read the bevy of tributes below.
