They say music is the great unifier and that theory is tested right here as Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has offered his take on the Kanye West/Beck Grammys debacle with this mashup of West’s “Jesus Walks” and Beck’s “Loser.” Posted under his DJ alias, DJ Windows 98, Butler actually opened his recent set at New York’s Bowery Ballroom with the track. Butler also appeared last night as a presenter on the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary celebration.

It’s been a strange week and a half for the Kanye/Beck feud that doesn’t entirely exist. Beck said all the right things, meanwhile the office windows of New York taunted West during his recent performance in the city. Butler’s offering certainly ranks as the most musically creative, however.
