Soundgarden’s 1994 release Superunknown celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and to celebrate, the band will reissue the album in a super deluxe package. Included in the package (which hits stores June 3) is a variety of unreleased demos and rehearsals, B-sides, liner notes from David Fricke, old photos and a hardbound book to keep everything in. There are also vinyl options available as well. Soundgarden will also release a special edition set of five 10″ vinyl for Record Store Day on April 19.

In preparation for such an extravagant release, the band’s Soundcloud channel has shared an early demo of “Black Hole Sun,” the song that launched Soundgarden into the rock and roll stratosphere. Listen to the old cut below.
