Tomorrow is finally the day when Phish returns to the road to kick off their summer tour largely highlighted by a thirteen night residency at Madison Square Garden. But if Phish has taught you anything, it’s to never ignore the shows that might be overlooked, including this weekend’s opening run in Chicago and subsequent stops in Pittsburgh and Dayton. 

Last time Phish was in Chicago, they were closing out two nights at legendary Wrigley Field and ended with a bang as they dusted off The Beatles’ “I Am the Walrus” for the first time since 2010. Does a bustout of the same variety await this weekend? We shall see.
