Jeremy Shockey and Page McConnell, two bros just broing around on Lincoln Road in Miami. Probably grabbing a slice at Pizza Rustica, taking a casual stroll on the beach and lighting up a Cuban cigar as the sun goes down. 

Shockey, the former University of Miami football standout (Dorsey to Shockey is still one of the greatest moments in Miami Hurricanes football history) and NFL Pro Bowler, is indeed a Phish fan, making this pairing not at all surprising. Shockey took in the band’s New Year’s run in Miami, even hanging with potential bro candidate Jon Fishman. The former tight end and McConnell also took in a Playboy party at the Super Bowl in 2003.

As New York Magazine reported back then, “Shockey’s entourage was characteristically eclectic. He brought Robert Bailey, his marketing agent, and Drew Rosenhaus, his football agent; a couple of Oklahoma high-school pals; his Humvee dealer; and Page McConnell, the keyboard player in Phish, Shockey’s favorite band. ‘I ask him every so often if he’s got anything going on with a particular girl,’ McConnell said, laughing. ‘Shockey says, ‘You know me—always on the rebound.’'”
