Guitarist Eric Krasno took over New York’s Blue Note jazz club this past weekend, playing eight shows over four nights with a band featuring keyboardist/vocalist Nigel Hall, drummer Louis Cato and bassist Chris Loftlin, along with special guests each night. Night one included guest vocalist Lisa Fischer (see photos here), followed by Casey Benjamin and Ledisi on Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s finale saw Krasno and company welcome previously announced guest bassist MonoNeon, along with surprise guest saxophonist James Casey and pedal-steel player Robert Randolph, who helped the band close out the run during the final set on Sunday.
