Eagles of Death Metal Return to Le Bataclan for First Time Since Attacks
In what had to be one of the most difficult moments thus far for Eagles of Death Metal, the band bravely returned to Le Bataclan in Paris for the first time since terrorists claimed the lives of 89 people during their show.
In videos posted by Sky News and Reuters, band members Jesse Hughes and Julian Dorio were almost instantly moved to tears as they observed the massive memorial made outside of the venue to the victims. The band also laid flowers beside memorials made for their merch director, Nick Alexander, and several of their record label representatives who were killed in the attacks.
The more somber moment came after a triumphant one yesterday as the band returned to the stage for the first time in Paris with U2, as the band welcomed EODM on stage for a pair of songs at the end of their show, including their own “I Love You All the Time.”
