Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is currently in the midst of celebrating Pearl Jam week in honor of the band’s tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt. To kick off the festivities, Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell took the stage with Seth and Scott Avett to perform a stirring rendition of the Pearl Jam original, “Footsteps.” The music for the song, written by Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard, was originally used by Cornell for “Times of Trouble,” a Temple of the Dog track. Temple of the Dog was a supergroup that featured members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden after the death of Mother Love Bone frontman Andy Wood.

Tonight on Fallon, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold will make his return to late night television to perform “Corduroy.”
