The fourth studio album from Spiritual Rez is set for release this Friday, October 7. The reggae-fusion act enlisted AWOLNATION’s Kenny Carkeet to produce Setting in the West, while Eve 6’s Max Collins served as co-producer. Guest players include Hirie, Duddy B (Dirty Heads) and Billy Kottage (Reel Big Fish) while Goldfinger’s John Feldmann co-wrote some of the songs. Today we offer the premiere of Setting in the West, which is now available for pre-order.

The band notes, “We are so thankful to be able to offer a preview of Setting in the West with Relix. This album is a culmination of two and a half years of effort, and our first ever diving into the realm of featured artists, producers and writers. Our intention is to provide singable songs that the listener will be driven to come see us put our live flare on and see all the different capabilities on stage, not just in the studio, that Spiritual Rez can provide. Spiritual Rez will be touring throughout the U.S. over the coming months in support of the album, including an appearance at Suwannee Hulaween, with their upcoming shows listed below the album stream.
