Renowned songwriter Kendell Marvel is currently making a name for himself as a performing artist. Marvel, who is currently in the middle of a tour opening for Chris Stapleton, has recorded a new album set for release on Friday. The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach is releasing the record via his Easy Eye Sound and co-produced Solid Gold Sounds along with Dave “Fergie” Ferguson (John Prine, Del McCoury, Mac Wiseman).

Today we offer the premiere stream of the album. Marvel reflects, “Solid Gold Sounds is a record that sounds like it could’ve been made in 1975 and that’s exactly what we wanted. It still has the grit of my last record, meshed with a much more mellow, easy-sounding vibe. Working with Dan Auerbach, Dave Ferguson and Allen Parker along with the Easy Eye Band was the most creative, fun time I’ve ever had in the studio. I cherish every single moment of making it.”
