Album Premiere: Elkhorn ‘The Storm Sessions’

The latest album from the psych-folk guitar duo Elkhorn will be released tomorrow. The Storm Sessions features two extended improvisational sequences recorded while the band was snowed in with friend Turner Williams (Ramble Tamble, Guardian Alien) when wintry weather postponed a gig. Jesse Sheppard (12-string acoustic) and Drew Gardner (6-string electric) launched Elkhorn in 2013 and have steadily built a national following for their ethereal yet dynamic sonic explorations. On The Storm Sessions, the two musicians are joined by Williams on electric bouzouki and shahi baaja.

Today we premiere the new release, which is available for pre-order.
