7-Eleven and Ryan Adams Exchanged Hilarious Tweets
File this under: Why Twitter is the best.
Ryan Adams took to Twitter with an odd request for the fine people over at 7-11. “How high are you cats cause can you glue Skittles to those donut glasses with some sugar glue,” the singer tweeted. Sure enough, by the will of the greatness that is the Internet, 7-11 responded in a magical way with the great deed completed. The glasses actually make the album art to Adams’ new EP No Shadow look even cooler.

Anyway, Adams’ new EP boasts Johnny Depp on guitar. The third track on the album, “Stoned Alone,” is in fact about being stoned in the 7-11 parking lot across the street from his own PAX-AM Studio in Los Angeles. Listen to the EP below.
Adams was also the cover star of our October_November issue and spoke about (not Skittles) playing with Phil Lesh, his inspiration from Jack Kerouac and more. Read an excerpt here.
