From the Archives: _Bonnaroo Beacon_ Bon Or Oos

June 9, 2010

Each summer since Bonnaroo’s inception in 2002, Relix and Jambands.com have produced the festival’s daily newspaper, The Bonnaroo Beacon. Though the paper has gone through numerous changes over the years, one constant feature is the “Bon or Oo” questions we ask artists each summer. A number of artists have participated in the past eight years, ranging from Trey Anastasio to Steven Malkmus.

On the eve of Bonnaroo 2010 we look back at some Bon Or OOs from the inaugural ’roo.

True or false, guitarists are over-appreciated

I’m not into battling bass versus guitar even though guitarists tend to sound wimpy by comparison. Except for Warren Haynes. Warren Haynes could kick everybody’s ass on the planet.
