Watch The Princeton Footnotes A Cappella Group Perform Phish’s “Julius” in Quarantine

The Princeton Footnotes – who have been performing at the Ivy League school since 1959 – have shared a new, a capella arrangement of Phish’s “Julius” from the comfort of quarantine.

“Princeton sent students home in March, so the Footnotes are making music from home! We put together this cover of Julius for the Purnell School, where we have performed every spring for fifty years, and now we are sharing it with the world,” the group wrote.

However, the layered performance may be bittersweet for some Phish fans, who are still mourning the loss of summer tour 2020.
