North Mississippi Allstars guitarist Luther Dickinson brought his new Sisters of the Strawberry Moon project to New York’s City Winery on Tuesday evening, joining forces with some of the musicians involved in his new collaborative album, Solstice (out tomorrow, March 22), like vocalist Amy Helm and Birds of Chicago. Marc Millman shared some photos from the performance, along with a video of the collective’s cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City,” which was also a hit for Helm’s father Levon’s legendary group, The Band.
