Watch Jeff Tweedy Join Chris Thile For New Solo Tunes on ‘Live From Here’

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy was one of the special guests on the latest episode of Live From Here, hosted by Punch Brothers mandolinist/singer-songwriter Chris Thile, and Tweedy offered a couple of his new solo songs to the crowd at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, NE.

Tweedy played two tracks off his upcoming solo effortWARM (due out November 30), starting with a unaccompanied performance of lead single “Some Birds.” Later, Tweedy emerged to join Thile and the Live From Here house band for the jangling “Let’s Go Rain.”

Watch Tweedy’s performances below, along with Thile’s latest Song of the Week, “There’s More to Death,” and the house band celebrating musician birthdays with cover of songs from Ed Droste (of Grizzly Bear), Shelby Lynne, Jeff Mangum (of Neutral Milk Hotel), Frank Ocean and Joni Mitchell.
