Watch Dead & Company and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds’ Full Sets from Band Together Bay Area

November 10, 2017

Last night, a group of artists, including Dead & Company and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, came together at San Francisco’s AT&T Park to play the Band Together Bay Area concert, which helped to raise money in support of those affected by the recent wildfires in Northern California.

After the evening was kicked off with offerings from Raphael Saadiq, rapper G-Eazy and Rancid, Matthews & Reynolds came out for their own set, and the longtime collaborators ran through a number of Dave Matthews Band staples, kicking off with “Don’t Drink the Water,” which featured a lyrical tease of “This Land is Your Land” from Matthews. The quick set also featured “Warehouse,” “Satellite,” the newer “Samurai Cop,” “Bartender,” “The Space Between” and a “Grey Street” finale.

Next up were Dead & Company, who used the performance as a warmup to their tour that kicks off this weekend at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Bob Weir, John Mayer and company opened with a spirited “Playing in the Band” and followed up with a set centerpiece of “Scarlet Begonias” into “Fire on the Mountain” before closing with the Grateful Dead favorites and appropriately themed “Not Fade Away” and “Touch of Grey.”

See both setlists and watch the sets in full below.
