Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats got some help from Seattle rock royalty over the weekend at Sasquatch Music Festival as Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready joined the group for a cover of The Band’s “Shape I’m In.”

The cover came after the band’s hit “S.O.B.” which started with Rateliff pleading with the audience not to throw their cocktails at him during the tune. As the song wound down, Rateliff stepped to the mic and encouraged McCready to come out for the next one. In what seemed to be an impromptu sit-in, McCready obliged once he was able to find a guitar. All the while, John C. Reilly danced sidestage. The Walk Hard actor introduced the band before their set.
