Unfortunately, when you woke up this morning, no, yesterday was not just a bad dream. Prince is in fact dead and gone, and this world is a lesser place because of that fact. 

As the news spread of his untimely passing, those who attended Prince’s final show ever at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA began to share footage from the show, including one Twitter user who managed to snag some video of the “Purple Rain” finale, which would serve as the iconic artist’s final performance.

“He left everything on the stage, like he always did. After one song, he got up and left the stage because he was overcome by emotion,” audience member Celeste Headlee told People. “Honestly, it’s too much for me to take in at this point.”
