John Mayer impressions are all the rage these days, or at least they are on what is quickly becoming one of the worst seasons of Saturday Night Live in the show’s history. On Saturday night, in an episode hosted by Matthew McConaughey and musical guest Adele, the show delivered one of its funnier shorts in a spoof of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Introduced by JJ Abrams, the clip shows a series of “lost” audition tapes from the likes of Sofia Vergara, Jon Hamm (who auditions as Hamm Solo), Shaquille O’Neal, Emma Stone, David Beckham and others. Some appear as themselves and others are played by cast members (Bobby Moynihan perfectly portrays George Lucas), but Dead & Co guitarist John Mayer is included in the bit.
