Video: The Roots Ride Dr. Doom’s Fearfall With Amazing Results

Last night’s Tonight Show was one big giggly mess in the best way imaginable. Broadcasting from Universal Studios in Orlando, FL for the week, Jimmy Fallon has spent the week running around the two theme parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) to film a variety of bits.

This time, he sent his house band The Roots over to Dr. Doom’s Fearfall, a ridiculous 185-foot contraption that rockets you skyward and slams you down with just as much force. And of course, they filmed it much like they did when Fallon and Kevin Hart rode a roller coaster on Tuesday’s show. The result is a terror-filled reaction, most of which had to be bleeped out (which is how any of us would’ve reacted).

Adding to the hilarity of last night’s episode, the Suggestion Box segment also birthed a Harry Potter-themed rap from Black Thought, who told the story of the famous wizard better than J.K. Rowling herself.

After all of that, there was still a musical guest to get to–fun. debuted a new song for the packed crowd outside at Universal Studios entitled “Harsh Lights” from their forthcoming record.
