Dave Matthews Band will issue their first live DVD for the first time since 2009’s Live at Brixton Academy in the form of the November 19, 2010 show from Charlottesville’s John Paul Jones Arena. The penultimate show to DMB’s fall run has stood the test of time, being regarded as one of the best shows the band has played in numerous years. The following night, the tour closer, also holds a high standing with hardcore fans. Known for bustouts like the ultra-rare “Spoon” and a surprise “Halloween” along with numerous guest spots throughout the run, this release will satisfy every fan of Dave Matthews Band.

Visually, Lighting Director Fenton Williams also debuted a new light rig for the short tour, one of his best in the band’s 20+ year history. Thanks to the wonder of YouTube, here are a collection of must-see highlights from the November 19 show as well as additional bonus material from November 20. Be sure to check out the stirring rendition of “Spoon” (the band’s first in nearly two years) and killer extended versions of “#41” and “Warehouse” featuring DMB crew member Joe Lawlor and longtime DMB collaborator John D’Earth. The gems of the run come in the form of a surprise “Halloween” and the emotional weekend closer, “The Last Stop,” which included a “Three Little Birds” interpolation. The final notes of this performance came under the cloud of the band’s announcement that they would be taking 2011 off.
