Dark Star Orchestra Confirm Summer Tour
Dark Star Orchestra have confirmed a slate of Summer Tour dates. The renowned Grateful Dead cover band, known for recreating the original ensemble’s concerts by tracking setlists from start to finish, will embark on a seasonal run beginning June 11 at BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, N.H. On the roster are a significant number of East Coast appearances, which will keep the band busy during the onset of the sunny dog days.
After submitting their first night on the road, the band will resume their summer run with an appearance at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard in Lafayette, N.Y., on June 12, followed by an All Good Now Festival slot in Columbia, Md., the next day. Next, they’ll play two nights at Tree House Brewing Company in South Deerfield, Mass., June 15-16.
The band’s schedule will account for appearances at the Wild Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa., on June 18, and Buffalo Outer Harbor in Buffalo, N.Y., on June 19. They’ll hit Parkstage in Freehold, N.J., en route to Levitt Pavilion in Westport, Conn., on June 21, ahead of an evening in Rochester on June 24.
The cover band will proceed into another two-night run, this time at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, June 25-26. The following evening, the group will take the stage in Bethel, N.Y., before taking a break from their summer agenda, which will inevitably resume on July 11 when Dark Star Orchestra appears as a guest during Rock the Dock in Lake George, N.Y.
On the other side of the country, the band has displayed a single outlier, August 7 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Wash. For tickets and additional information on Dark Star Orchestra’s live schedule, visit the band’s official website.
