Mimi Fishman Foundation and WaterWheel Foundation Auction Signed Phish Summer 2024 Posters, Including Billy Strings Autographs
Continuing its mission of activating the jam community for social good, The Mimi Fishman Foundation has launched a new auction of Phish memorabilia. In partnership with The WaterWheel Foundation, Phish’s multifaceted philanthropic arm responsible for raising over $9 million for a wide variety of charitable beneficiaries, this latest auction offers 37 posters signed by all four members of the band. Proceeds from the batch will be split between the foundations, and each will distribute the donations to a range of chosen nonprofit organizations in line with their ongoing service to public health and wellbeing, environmental protection, social justice, music education and more.
The posters for The Mimi Fishman Foundation’s latest auction–a 25-year tradition for the organization founded by Phish drummer Jon Fishman’s mother–are sourced from the legendary jam band’s top tier summer 2024 tour, which brought on dates across the country highlighted by annual celebrations, live collaborations and Mondegreen, its 11th signature music festival. All these memorable moments are represented in the collection, with features stunning full band-signed commemorative posters for shows like East Troy, Wis.’s Alpine Valley, Bethel, N.Y.’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and Mansfield, Mass.’s Xfinity Center, as well as two posters from the band’s 2024 series at Commerce City, Colo.’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and three from Mondegreen.
A cleaar standout among the offerings are the posters from Phish’s shows at Grand Rapids, Mich.’s Van Andel Arena, which made waves with an extended sit-in from Billy Strings. Strings’ signature is rightly featured alongside the band’s on these prints, and prices for these coveted items are already running up to $925. Every poster in the collection is paired with a variant, to the relief of completionist fans everywhere.
The Mimi Fishman Foundation’s latest auction will conclude on November 20. For more information on The Mimi Fishman Foundation, its accomplishments, and its ongoing dedication to mobilizing music and community to change the world, visit mimifishman.org.
