Last night, March 9, the 7th annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert occurred at the famed Beacon Theatre on New York’s Upper West Side. The charitable event, which raised proceeds for God’s Love We Deliver, brought up an impressive list of talent for a night of music, comedy and goodwill.

During the stacked performance, industry luminaries took the stage and cut into choice numbers. Highlights included odes to the departed, with Warren Haynes paying tribute to the late-David Crosby on a cover of “Almost Cut My Hair,” as well as a collaborative take on the Curtis Mayfield-penned “People Get Ready.” The aforementioned tune was initially recorded by The Impressions and later released by Jeff Beck on his 1985 LP, Flash. The song was played as the last number of the night and served as a salute to the prominent U.K. guitarist, who passed in January 2023. Read more about last night’s concert here.
