Relix Premieres fIREHOSE Instrumental “Down With The Bass”

In April, Mike Watt, Ed Crawford, and George Hurle will reform as fIREHOSE. The trio last performed in 1994 and they have announced a stretch of dates that includes an appearance at Coachella. The tour coincides with the release of lowFLOWs: The Columbia Anthology (’91 – ’93), lowFlows_. This album, which is available for pre-order1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1331572827&sr=1-1-fkmr1, draws together the two original fIREHOSE albums on Columbia Records plus 15 tracks out-of-print and previously unreleased recordings. One of these, the instrumental, “Down With The Bass,” is now streaming on Relix.com.
