Mission South will release a new EP, Migration Vol. 2 on April 9. The roots rock trio’s previous effort, Migration, Vol. 1 topped DC’s Independent Music Download charts, while the group finished second in the DC Deli Magazine’s Poll for Best Emerging Artist of 2012. Mission South will perform a variety of gigs over the coming weeks in support of the new recording, including Crawfest in New Orleans with The funky Meters, Honey Island Swamp Band and others.
