Last week Relix.com reported that Phosphorescent’s van and gear were stolen after a gig at New York’s Pier 54. Now, we are happy to report that the missing items have been recovered. A note on the band’s homepage explains:

A Christmas miracle? Whatever you want to call it, we are thrilled to report that Phosphorescent’s stolen van and gear was recovered last night by NYPD. We really appreciate all of the kind words that have been sent our way over the past few days ’ the endless support has been simply amazing. The band will be refunding any donations in full ASAP.

We are happy to put this behind and to be able to focus on the tour ahead. Phosphorescent are hauling to Columbus as I type this, and are thrilled for their upcoming shows. Don’t forget, joining Phosphorescent will be Doug Paisley (7/13-7/18), Shiny Around the Edges (7/21-7/24) and J. Tillman (7/27-8/15). Phosphorescent will also be performing at the Treasure Island Festival in San Francisco on October 17.
