Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), David Hidalgo (Los Lobos) and Mato Nanji (Indigenous) first performed together while on the Experience Hendrix tour. They soon struck up a friendship and then entered the studio to record an album in which they ‘revisit their psychedelic blues roots.’ The record, entitled 3 Skulls And The Truth has just been released, with all three musicians sharing vocals and guitar duties.
