Treetop Flyers: The Mountain Moves

Partisan
At first listen, the guitar and soulful vocals that make up the laidback sounds of Treetop Flyers’ debut album, The Mountain Moves, could be a band of California surfers from the ‘60s. The reality is that Treetop Flyers are a group of London folk-rock singers. Led by singer Reid Morrison’s melodic harmonies and toe-tapping choruses, the group’s Fleetwood Mac-inspired sound
stands out on the guitar-driven tracks “Waiting On You” and “Picture Show.” Meanwhile, “Postcards” is an upbeat track in the middle of an album filled with pop-oriented vocals and feel-good vibes. The Mountain Moves is a thoroughly enjoyable record – one that acts as the perfect soundtrack for an open-highway groove.
