Pretty Lights Music

On the debut release on the Pretty Lights Music label, Eliot Lipp throws together a bunch of noises to create one supreme being – much like the all powerful Shark Wolf Rabbit Snake (seriously, where does he come up with this stuff?). There’s hardly a music genre that isn’t touched – “Sneakin’ (Baby Prt 1)” creeps along with a funky synth beat, “Gettin’ Money” features high pitched vocal samples and guest production from label mate Michal Menert, and there’s even a bit of wobbly bro-step to please the masses on “Mountain.” This album shows a musician who isn’t afraid to take risks, and has clearly matured greatly since his first release back in 2004.
