For 60 years, the members of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band have maintained their mission to protect, preserve and perpetuate the sounds of traditional New Orleans Jazz, despite ongoing challenges that have ranged from numerous hurricanes to the current global pandemic.

In an oral history, members of the musical collective trace the development of this storied venue.
