Tyler Childers touched down in New York earlier this week for his hotly anticipated performances at Forest Hills Stadium. In the last lap of his On the Road Tour, the alt-country torchbearer offered up two sold-through performances on Monday, Sept. 29, and Tuesday, Sept. 30, focusing on tracks from his celebrated seventh studio album, Snipe Hunter, and lined with other enduring fan favorites like “All Your’n,” “Shake the Frost” and “Lady May.” On both nights, Childers moved to the B-stage towards the end of the set to intimately address the crowd with solo acoustic trio treatments, then rotated back to the main spotlight to close on an anthemic high note.
