The Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children’s music education, is celebrating 25 years of existence. To honor the anniversary, the foundation is hosting ‘The Mockingbird Sessions,’ a free, three-day livestream event featuring members of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and more. The event will occur on June 4, 5 and 6 at 6 p.m. ET on FANS.

“In celebration of 25 years of supporting children’s music education, The Mockingbird Foundation proudly presents The Mockingbird Sessions,” the band wrote simply when announcing the event.

The livestream will feature performances by APB (made up of Leftover Salmon’s Andy Thorn and Dead Phish Orchestra’s Paul Murin and Brian F. Adams); Dopapod; Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio; a quartet of Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, Christian McBride and Mikaela Davis, phoffman, Soule Monde and many more. It will also see a special set dubbed ‘Twang Is Dead’ with Arthur Lee Land and Friends, featuring Jeremy Garrett, Andy Hall, Emma Rose, Lionel Young and Paul Murin. There will also be a performance by Yonder Mountain Trio, featuring Adam Aijala, Ben Kaufman and Nick Piccinnini.

In addition to the performances, there will also be masterclasses in bass, drums, guitar and keyboards. Reed Mathis, Karina Rykman and Chris Wood will showcase the base; Nicki Glaspie and Russ Lawton will teach drums; Nels Cline, Ari Joshua and Scott Metzger will host classes for guitar; and Rob Barraco and Jonny Grusauskas will delve into keyboards.
