Fans will have to wait another year for The Fugees highly anticipated reunion tour.

News broke on Oct. 29 that the soul-rap trio will not play their 11-show celebration of The Score as scheduled.

“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th anniversary tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible,” read a statement via social media. “With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates!”

The announcement comes just days before their Nov. 2 tour-opener in Chicago.

On Sept. 22, The Fugees did reunite briefly in New York City, performing a 45-minute set three-hours later than scheduled.

Fans were rewarded, however, with The Score‘s title track, followed by “How Many Mics,” “Zealots,” “Fu-Gee-La,” “Killing Me Softly” and “Ready or Not.” They closed with their version of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry.”

The 2022 outing is set to be the first time Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel will tour together in 15 years.

New dates have yet to be officially announced.
