Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts Add Additional Guests

Following Wednesday’s announcement detailing the list of special friends and guests who are scheduled to perform in honor of the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins at tribute concerts in London and Los Angeles, Foo Fighters and the Hawkins Family have shared they’ll welcome newly added guest artists on both evenings.

The show at Wembley Stadium in London on Sept. 3 will now welcome Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, Alain Johannes, percussion prodigy Nandi Bushell, Nile Rodgers, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Greg Kurstin and comedian Chris Rock. As previously reported, the evening will also feature Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Roger Taylor, Brian May, Liam Gallagher, Stewart Copeland, Queens of the Stone Age’s Joshua Homme, Chris Chaney, Dave Chappelle, Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde, Omar Hakim, members of Hawkins’ covers band Chevy Metal and Wolfgang Van Halen.

The newly added guests for the performance at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Sept. 27 include P!NK, LeAnn Rimes, Nancy Wilson and Greg Kurstin. Jones, Johannes and Novoselic will also join the lineup. Los Angeles’ tribute show will welcome Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of RUSH, former band leader of Hawkins Alanis Morissette, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Rage Against the Machine’s Brad Wilk, Brian May and Roger Taylor, Queens of the Stone Age’s Joshua Homme and Jon Theodore, Joan Jett, Miley Cyrus, Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx, Copeland, Jane’s Addiction’s Chris Chaney, Gene Simmons, Mark Ronson, Omar Hakim, and Chevy Metal.

More guests are expected to be announced soon, and tickets for both concerts went onsale today at 9 a.m. local times. Find tickets to the London show here and the Los Angeles show here. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the United Kingdom and the United States that are chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details are expected to be announced shortly.
