Sunflower Bean Release Short Documentary Film for ‘Dr. Martens Presents’ Series
NYC-based three-piece Sunflower Bean have announced a new short documentary film as part of the annual ‘Dr. Martens Presents: Music & Film Series. According to a press release, “the Dr. Martens Presents: Music & Film Series highlights musicians living in the LA and NYC music scenes through a series of mini documentary films that celebrate their resilience.”
According to a press release, Sunflower Bean’s film centers around the band’s efforts to deliver “donations of water and hand sanitizer to protestors over the summer and how politics continue to influence their music whilst inspiring hopefulness and individual reliance.”
The band will perform a live set on Dr. Martens Instagram page on Jan. 19 (Tuesday). Tune in here.
