The original members of Strangefolk have previously announced three reunion shows to take place on March 29 and 30 at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT and March 31 at the State Theater in Portland, ME. Now that the group has added a tour opener set for March 28 at Brooklyn Bowl. This addition is fitting as the quartet has credited their return to Brooklyn Bowl owner (and Relix publisher) Pete Shapiro, who discussed the four members coming back together to perform at his soon to be reopened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (tomorrow the group will release the recording from their December 27, 1998 show at the Cap in his honor).

Tickets to the Brooklyn Bowl show will go on sale Friday, March 16 at noon.
