Daptone Records will release Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings next album on August 6, 2013. Give The People What They Want is the fifth record from the group. The forthcoming recording will offer 10 songs from the 11-piece, including “Retreat!” which streams below. While the album won’t hit for a few months, the group will be making the rounds in a variety of settings over the months to come, with their next appearance set for the Great GoogaMooga in Brooklyn on May 19.
