Robert Randolph Announces Free Juneteenth Unityfest Livestream with Earth Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers and More


On Saturday, June 19 the Robert Randolph foundation will spearhead the Juneteenth Unityfest, a free livestream bringing together “diverse voices in a commemoration and celebration of one of the most important events in Black history and American history.”

The show will honor the black community with performances by Earth Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers & Chic, India.Aire, Darius Rucker, Dave Matthews & Carter Beauford, Ledisi, Black Pumas and more.

“People of all backgrounds will have the opportunity to learn about Juneteenth and its legacy via musical performances, inspiring remarks, films, comedy, storytelling, and appearances by civic leaders and influencers,” reads an official description. “Most importantly, Juneteenth Unityfest is a national platform for a coalition of charitable and grassroots organizations to gain much deserved attention and support for their work in advancing national unity.”
