Relix to Debut Twitch Channel with Free Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Livestreams

LOCKN’, Relix, Twitch and FANS have announced that the upcoming Joe Russo’s Almost Dead pay-per-view livestreams will now pivot to a free broadcast on the brand new Relix Channel on Twitch, presented by Dayglo and Dogfish Head.

The PPV shows were originally scheduled for Oct. 2-4; they will now be broadcast for free on Twitch on Oct. 1 and 2. All those who purchased passes to the pay-per-view streams will receive a full refund.

In addition to the free streams, those who have purchased tickets to LOCKN’ 2021 will receive an access code to watch an exclusive set of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead on Oct. 3, which will be aired on FANS.

Rather than performing at the LOCKN’ site, the band will perform the livestreams from an indoor location. Meanwhile, the broadcast will feature aerial footage of the LOCKN’ landscapes allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the stream.

Relix, Twitch and JRAD have also teamed up with HeadCount, which “uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.” (Quote via press release.) Viewers of the livestream will be able to make in-stream donations to the non-partisan organization and will also be able to check their voter registration status.

Both free livestreams (as well as the exclusive FANS stream on Oct. 3) will begin at 8 p.m. ET. To tune in to the Twitch streams, head to twitch.tv/therelixchannel.
