Relix Premieres New Album from Patrick Sweany

On July 16, Nine Mile Records will release the latest studio effort by Patrick Sweany. Close To The Floor is an album of catharsis for the Nashville-based bluesman. The record reflects his response to the premature deaths of two family members. Sweany explains, “It’s fairly obvious that a good deal of this album is dealing with grief, loss, and its aftermath. It’s really pushed me to make the record about the resilience of people who love each other.” Sweany will mark the release of Close To The Floor with a Nashville show on Tuesday the 16th and will take to the road in support of the album.
