The Red Hot Chili Peppers have postponed their July 1 concert at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Scotland. The band shared on their social media platforms that due to illness, the one-night stand will be rescheduled for a later date.
They wrote: “We are working on ways to reschedule this show. Please hold onto your tickets and wait for an update soon. RHCP love Scotland and are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The ensemble was supposed to appear tonight, along with their guests Anderson .Paak, The Free Nationals and Thundercat, who initially joined the band on June 25 at their London performance.
Following the band’s now postponed Glasgow date, they are expected to take the stage for a sold-out show on July 3 at Rock Werchter in Leuven, Belgium. From there, they’ll head to Cologne, Germany, on July 5, before a two-night stand in Paris, and a European tour closer to Hamburg, Germany, on July 12.
