Post Malone Embraces Country Chapter During Nashville Concert with Help From Blake Shelton, Sierra Ferrell and More

Post Malone fully embraced the honky tonk spirit during his Tuesday concert in Nashville. During the night, which served as a convergence of music and spirits sponsored by Bud Light, the hip-hop native, who has ascended into current territory ahead of the early fall release of his country debut, F-1 Trillion, invited a slew of guest sit-ins, including Blake Shelton, Sierra Ferrell, Joe Nichols and HARDY to perform songs off the LP and more.
After commencing the frame with beerbongs & bentleys originator, “rockstar,” Malone arrived at his 2018 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse contribution, “Sunflower.” The preliminary run-throughs dotted the setlist ahead of the night’s initial team-up and Shelton’s arrival on the co-released “Pour Me a Drink.” The duo continued by performing “Some Beach,” which represented a first-time cover for Malone, plucking the tune from Shelton’s canon of originals.
Shelton swapped spots with Nichols, giving the fellow country artist time to connect with Malone on stage over his own number, “Brokenheartsville.” Without help, Malone delivered fan favorite “Circles” ahead of a live debut of “Yours.” Next, Ferrell assisted her host on the second live play-through of “Never Love You Again” and an ensuing first-time cover of the 1963 released Billy Edd Wheeler original, “Jackson.”
Keeping with the unpredictability of unannounced accompaniment, the evening’s final guest turned up for the final live debut of Tuesday’s concert, “Hide My Gun,” with help from HARDY—the country rock music singer and songwriter stuck around for one last cover, Kerry Kurt Phillips’ “ Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die).” Before turning out the lights and ending the night, Malone worked in “Congratulations” and “Chemical” prior to the F-1 Trillion feature, “I Had Some Help.”
