Osiris Spotlight: New Podcasts ‘Alternate Routes’ and ‘Amigos’

The Osiris podcast network has recently launched two new offerings, both of which are hosted by Relix contributors, including a show that shines a light on some lesser-known music and one that fuses music and comedy.
- Alternate Routes: Writer, DJ and music freak Jesse Jarnow has launched Alternate Routes, which presents a range of new and exciting music not found on Spotify and other major streaming services. Drawing from self-released projects, live recordings and other alternative means of distribution, Alternate Routes tours the far corners of contemporary independent music for open-eared heads, featuring sounds that are acoustic, electric, electronic, improvised, composed, far out, highly traditional or all (or none) of the above. - Amigos: Mike Finoia, a comedian, producer and writer, hosts the new podcast Amigos, in which he explores the worlds of music and comedy—plus everything in between—with special guests, friends and colleagues. The first three episodes of Amigos are live now, including an interview with HeadCount co-founder Andy Bernstein. Listen and subscribe here.
