Back in February, Neil Young cancelled his summer European tour with the Chrome Hearts. At that time he indicated, “Everything is OK. Just needed a break. Listening to my body.” His only confirmed gig had been Farm Aid on September 26. However, more recently, in the days leading g up to the September 18 release of Second Song, his sophomore release with the Chrome Hearts he has intimated that some additional dates were in the offing.
Two performance have now been confirmed on bills with Willlie Nelson. Neil Young and the Chrome Heart and Willie Nelson & Family will share a co-bill at Bridgeport’s Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Then, two days later the groups also will appear at TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann. These gigs will precede Farm Aid 2026 which is set to take place on September 26 at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Last week Young shared the title track to Second Song, which is now available for pre-order.
Tickets to the co-bills with Willie Nelson, which also feature Ty Myers in the opening slot, go on sale Friday at 10 AM ET.
