_The old coverWe’re are very much looking forward to the forthcoming Neil Young & Crazy Horse double album Psychedelic Pill (Neil had us at 27 minute opening track). While as we’ve reported, the release will no doubt" fulfill the promise of its title":http://www.relix.com/news/2012/09/11/neil-young-crazy-horse-s-psychedelic-pill-opens-with-27-minute-track, the album cover is something else. Perhaps feeling that the previously-released cover was a bit too old-school 1960’s psychedelic (or perhaps just wanting to place additional emphasis on the name Neil Young & Crazy Horse), alternative cover art has been revealed. The music itself, produced by Young, John Hanlon and Mark Humphreys, will become available on October 30. The tracklisting appears below.
