Mickey Hart To Play Sounds of His Brain, Tea Leaf Green’s Reed Mathis to Join Band in Support of New

The Mickey Hart Band will release a new album on August 13. As with Hart’s previous album,Superorganism will feature lyrics from Robert Hunter. He will take to the road in support of the new record starting on August 1 at Raven Theater in Healdsburg, CA. Opening these dates will be the Tea Leaf Trio, with Trevor Garrod, Reed Mathis and Cochrane McMillan offering stripped down interpretations of Tea Leaf Green songs. In addition, Mathis will join Hart on bass for these performances, during which Hart explains, “I will perform with an EEG cap on my head while I play the sounds of my brain.”
