Life Is Beautiful Shares Full Artist Lineup for A Big Beautiful Block Party: LCD Soundsystem, Jungle, Thundercat and More
Life Is Beautiful has officially shared the full artist lineup for A Big Beautiful Block Party, the Las Vegas institution’s new 2024 event set for Sept. 27 and 28. For the festival’s tenth annual staging since its 2013 debut, and first iteration since falling under the sole ownership of Rolling Stone, Life Is Beautiful’s 2024 return arrives in the form of a new, abbreviated event, shortening to a two-day program and relocating to 324 S. Main, near the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Vegas. The new event also features a more focused lineup, welcoming 14 high-profile indie electronic artists, including headliners Justice, Peggy Guo and LCD Soundsystem.
Chart-topping acts continue through the rest of the lineup, highlighted by Jamie XX, Jungle, James Blake and Thundercat. Performances from Toro y Moi, Badbadnotgood, Neil Frances, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, John Talabot and Fifi will round out the bill. Though honed to the broader classification of electronic, the artists selected for the Big Beautiful Block Party still showcase the eclectic variety of genre-bending styles that has made Life Is Beautiful a staple on the festival circuit.
Music will be distributed across two stages with no overlapping sets, and daily lineups are due to arrive as the festival approaches. Per Life Is Beautiful’s site, the Block Party format is not to replace the time-honored Life Is Beautiful full festival, but keep fans sated while the festival is reimagined for the future. “For now, it gives us the opportunity to continue the annual tradition of gathering in Downtown Las Vegas to uplift one another, to express ourselves, and to connect,” the release reads. “In time, the two will coexist.”
